General update
Apr. 17th, 2007 11:03 amScarby is going well. I'm part of the SAPA (Scarborough Academy of Performing Arts - Scarby's cast) campground, being a week-long presence for them. There is a possibility of hail today, so I may earn my keep, trying to deal with their crazy tarping system. The encampment's name is Valhalla, so I hope to teach them a neato sweeto Viking drinking song - I've already exposed a half dozen of them to it, and it has been well recieved thus far.
I made my first serious showing at Bazaar yesterday, and sold a bunch of crap. Soon a bunch of the more mundane things are going to go to a local thrift store.
I'm going to go out dancing for the first time this Thursday, I think. Then next week, since one of the cast members is letting me use his sewing machine, I want to hit the fabled fabric district of Dallas, and see what sorts of deals I can find on new chemise, bodice, and skirt fabric. I'm also hoping to make a couple shirts and maybe a cloak for the guy I'm presently sweet on.
