Bingo!

Last night was the RESCU Rally on site.

For those of you who don't know, RESCU is a non profit that started up last year to help ren-folk with unexpected medical expenses. They try to hold rallies at every faire, and the money raised at one faire primarily goes to someone at that same faire, with any money left over going to the national level.

The rally last night was a (mostly) silent auction, bingo game, and Texas Hold 'Em tournement. (Some people got auctioned off as well - that was interesting.) I got a 24 oz Wondrous Works in Wood mug for $26 in the silent auction, and won a wooden trencher, knife, spoon, and two-tined fork in the bingo game, wooo! That was extra exciting because until that point, I hadn't gotten anything more than three in a row on any of my cards.

Ooh, I also got my butt sketched, by a professional butt-sketcher! Honestly, what will they think of next?

I threw down about $50 at the fundraiser, and all in all, Scarby raised six grand! Woo! That's only $1000 less than the AZ faire raised, and Scarby is *much* smaller. How cool is that?!

REESCu sounds pretty cool, never heard of it before. Do they do anything at MRF?

And err, um, butt-sketcher. Ooookay, I'll be wandering off now... Can't help but to chuckle over that.

The dinner setting sounds cool.

See you in SD!

They probably will do something at MRF.

Make sure he got your good side

And when is the posting of the infamous sketch?
I'm sure we all want to see this ;)

Posting? Do you have a 24"x12" scanner?

*grins*

Well, I'll show it off next time you come to visit MN, or the next time I head to the Chicagoland area.

Oh, and I love that your journal is RP! Go you! *cheers*

/blush

I think my favorite touch was "This one proved even more difficult to fight as it had adapted some form of healing upgrade to restore its health on at least two occasions when we though we almost had it defeated."

How to explain the evade bug (enemy randomly evades all attacks and fully heals -- normally used when player target has escaped range of npc's movement and attacks) in-character?

Well if you make it to Bristol I'm all for seeing it (I could scan it piece-meal); and I'm hoping to make MN this year [finances permitting]. Otherwise you'll have to frame it so I can get around to seeing it ;)

Hrm, that sounds about right to me... In EQ there are complete heal spells available to cleric-types, so the explanation is pretty simple for us.
