Still wading in shit. Can't wait until I get rid of it. Some people want things from my list, so that's good. I'm still going to need to haul most of the furnature to HAP though.
This weekend I get to steal my mothers car while she's in NY at a cousin's wedding. So, Fri and Sat are going to be full of errand-running, stuff disposing, and maybe even car buying. I looked at CarSoup and there are more likely candidates up, yay.
Saturday night will be my first night on site, and Sunday my first full day. I'm planning on sleeping down there on Sunday as well, so Monday I'll get to see what it's like to commute up - that will be interesting.
Next week, bright and early Tuesday morning, I catch a flight to NY to go hook up with Mom, and then Thursday we start driving back. I'm hoping to do at least 12 hours of driving on Thursday, and be past Chicago before getting a hotel (if we get one). Mapquest says it's an 18 hour drive.
Then, on Fri, I go down to site, and on Saturday, Fest! Woot!
