using up internet time at the library....
Mar. 10th, 2006 04:00 pmI have abdominal muscles! I did a real sit-up a couple days ago, instead of throwing my head and shoulders forward and relying on momentum to get me up! I'm so excited.
I've gone to Area 51, a local industrial/gothic dance club night here in the Phoenix metro, a couple times now. The music selection is overall very good. Most of the music played is industrial dance stuff, though the DJ will play requests. The first time I went I sat my ass down far too quickly and never actually got out and danced, but last night I actually spent 5 or 6 songs out of the dance floor, yay! (Deba's neck says, "Boo!") One of the most unique things about Area 51 is that they have a local music retailer who sets up shop near the pool table; yesterday I finally acquired :wumpscut:'s 'Wreath of Barbs,' though I wonder if I should have gotten their album with 'Ich will dich' on it instead.
Much with the hugs to all you folks out there who aren't feeling well, mentally, emotionally, or physically. I hope that things improve for you.
I took the Belief-O-Matic quiz, and while I remembered to cut-and-paste the results, I didn't grab the URL, sorry. ( Read more... )
And I'll sign off with a poem that was posted in the privies.
The Sun Never Says, by Hafiz
Even after all this time,
The sun never says to the earth,
"You owe Me."
Look what happens,
With a love like that.
It lights the Whole Sky
