a little of everything
Mar. 22nd, 2007 06:27 pm*bounces* There's a new Kushiel series! I just finished the first, Kushiel's Scion, and the next is out in June! Woot!
Anyway, life is going just peachy. Work is going well, boy is going well, and I actually went out to one of the Salt River lakes two days ago. The driving was crazy, like driving in Hawaii I'm told, with 15 mph turns all over the place, and at least two wrecked cars halfway down cliffs.
The RESCU Rally was yesterday, and seems to have been a smashing success. I imagine a portion of the raised money will go to the fellow who was head-butted by an elephant a few weeks ago, and had to be airlifted to the hospital.
In other sad news, we have lost another beautiful soul to LSD. I pray she traverses quickly and safely, and is able to rejoin us soon, if she wishes.
I only have two more weeks in Arizona, then I will be travelling to Scarborough to push the Sliding Joust/Quintain. Presumed timeline is:
April 1 - Last day of ARF
April 2-4 - Close down chocolate shop. May only take two days.
April 5 - leave ARF in early morning, travel to El Paso, get hotel.
April 6 - Arrive Scarby mid/late afternoon. Check in with boss, unpack during evening hours.
April 7 - First day of Scarborough.
