Jul. 2nd, 2007 04:55 pmThis is one awesome lady.
I went to my first Colorado drum jam last night. Getting there was a trip - 6.3 miles on a bumpy mountain road, at anywhere from 2-15 mph, depending on the size of the rocks we were driving over. Despite its out-of-the-way location, a lot of people were there, maybe twenty in all. I went out on four or five wood-collecting expeditions, spun some poi, and otherwise just hung out and chilled around the campfire. Unfortunately, it looks like that area is rather popular for partying; I'm going to bring some trash bags next time.
