Big hugs to everyone from Scarby. I look forward to hearing about Catherine's recovery, and am sorry to hear about her husband; I'm sure you good people will post updates as necessary.

I'm safe in MN. I have a new 1.5' long crack in my windshield; I'm going to try to put off replacing it until after my January road trip.

I have a beat up platform near handicapped parking. I also have a two-room tent! One room for my bed and laundry, and the other for... I don't know. But I won't have to sit on my bed if I'm in my tent! I can sit on the floor instead! Woo!

My mom's house is strange. They're putting in not only an extension to the front porch, but a new garage also. The garage is huge, perhaps half the square footage of the house.

The bridge was under construction and down to one lane in each direction, traffic was moving very slowly, and they've interviewed at least one woman who was on the bridge when it collapsed. So it seems reasonable to assume that injuries/fatalities will be minimal.

Breathe deeply folks, and don't stress. Life happens. It's easier to deal with when you're calm.
