(no subject)

Well, the storm took down my tarp and kitchen, but not my actual tent or the King of Crowns tent, so I made it through the storm a lot better than many. This tarp/kitchen setup is a lot more secure than it used to be, so hopefully I'm good to go for the rest of the run. If these storms had happened next weekend, everyone would be pretty damn stressed out.

I went and saw Stardust, yay! I still like the printed versions better, but the movie did have some neat bits, like Billy, who was excellently goat-like. I loved watching him be all nervous. And Capt. Shakespeare was a hoot. I like how they expanded that entire phase of the adventure. I don't see why people complain about Danes so much, unless they don't like the expressiveness of her face.

I posted this info on the MRFfriends listserve a couple days ago, but realized a lot of LJ folks aren't on it.

There are bunches and bunches of people still looking for workers for MNRF, and these are the postings that are currently listed by C Gate. Dave is a great guy, and everyone loves the hair spirals at my sister-shoppe, Medieval Metal, but otherwise I can't speak for any of the other places.
