Feb. 2nd, 2008 10:05 pmI was pleasantly surprised the other night when I realized I know a lot more stars and constellations than I thought I did. I just looked up into the sky, and there they all were!
Constellations: The Dippers, Orion, Canis Major, Cassiopeia, Perseus, Bootes, and the Pleiades.
Stars: Betalgeuse (right shoulder of the giant), Rigel (left foot of same), and Sirius. I need to work on learning more of the brighter stars.
With as bright the stars are/how clear the sky is here, I should be able to spend many (warm) nights stargazing.
