(no subject)

I've decided to leave site on Wednesday, rather than tomorrow morning. Today was way too stressful, and I'm nowhere near ready to leave yet.

My car is leaking gas. I brought it to a dealership and they said I should be able to get it to Minnesota if I don't fill the tank all the way and don't park on any more hills, and they broke my inside door handle. One of my friends (and future boss, I hope) had some heavy-duty epoxy, and poked around my gas tank and was far more helpful than the vandals at the dealership with an idea of how to replace the pipe (yay hacksaws!). So once I get back to MN I'll be seeing what Tuan's can make of the situation, and if they can't fix it, I'll be nursing Cass along until I can buy a truck. Really, even if I do keep my car past MN, I should at least see about getting approved by the credit union for a loan so if I can find the perfect rust-free diesel in Texas, I can buy it.

I will definitely be burning an offering before I hit the road. It's been years since I've done that.
