Jan. 21st, 2010 08:01 pmLife has gotten much better in the last couple days.
Up until yesterday, I was very stressed out, primarily because I was supposed to rent a pop up trailer from a friend of mine, but the keys took a full week to arrive after she sent them Priority. So I'd been living in a borrowed tent, with my belongings rather haphazardly scattered around the area I thought would be my camp site, and was very grumpy about the whole scenario. However, the keys finally arrived and with the help of my neighbor/coworker and the Redneck, I was able to get the pop up popped up. Yesterday was spent cleaning, and now I finally have a functional house, yay! I even cooked dinner for the first time in maybe two weeks, and it felt so good to not have to come to work to use the microwave, or eat cold things.
So I'm now moved in to the AZ campgrounds, and I've been working every day since Sunday. It started off a little rough, but it looks like we're getting into the swing of things, so that's good. I was going to join my best friend for lady's night at her local bar, but the weather is really awful tonight (flash flooding possible, high winds, and even a tornado watch!) so we're going to have to put that off until next week probably.
Sometime next week I'll hopefully be going back to Mexico to get the post put in for my crown. Unfortunately, our work schedule is really fluid so I may not know when I have off until two days beforehand, which makes making my appointment a little interesting.
