Konzertfreude: Assemblege 23
Apr. 9th, 2010 10:41 amWent to go see Assemblege 23 at the Prophet Bar (formerly the Gypsy Tea Room) last night. I'd seen on the Twin Cities message board that they generally were a poor live show, so we went late, missing CNTL's performance. There were maybe only a hundred people in attendance, and I ended up feeling pretty satisfied with the show. The keyboardist did a good job of telling people to get up off their asses and watch the show from the front of the room, instead of spread out all over the cavernous room. My one with is that they had played at a smaller venue, so it didn't feel so freaking empty.
In vehicle news, I installed my stereo yesterday morning, and am keeping an eye on craigslist for a used low-profile tool box. I think I'll wait on the 5th wheel hitch until TRF. I also have my first truck job - one of the potters wants a half ton of pea gravel next week, so I'll likely be hauling that from Lowe's for him. Woot!
