Sewing: I want to make three new chemises - two short-sleeved, one long - and a new green skirt. I spent way less on the chemise material than I had planned. I anticipated spending $7/yd on linen, and ended up finding a linen/rayon blend for less than $4/yd. Yay SR Harris! Today I'll wash and iron the material at my mother's house, and make use of the visit to organize my belonging and dig out my patterns.
Also today I'll be going to a friend's place in St Paul to see if my external hard drive is toast or not.
Then to wrap up the day I should be going to Kireeonna's place to make some mead. Mmmm, mead....
Also on the To-Do list this week:
- Buy a new phone. WalMart has LG flip phones (I like LG's software, and prefer a smaller flip phone to the large slide out ones) with pay-as-you-go plans, so when I'm not managing I'll be able to make do with paying $30/month for an equivalent plan to the one I have now. I'd been meaning to look into the pay-as-you-go thing for a while now, but when I saw WalMart had the right kind of phone, I was sold.
- Thank you cards need to be done.
- I'd like to do a little shopping, but with my other expenditures I may not have funds. I suppose I can at least look.
- Dancing! I went to Hard Mondays yesterday, I'll be going ceili dancing on Wednesday, and Chamber on Thursday. I'll eventually post my thoughts on clubbing in the Twin Cities, but after I've been to each of the nights a few times.
