more trailer fun
Dec. 31st, 2010 11:36 amI need to dump the tanks before I go up to Dallas for New Years. I'll have to rehitch up, take up all the supports, drive 100', do some maneuvering, then drive 100' back and do more maneuvering. Yay. But at least I'll be better at all this stuff!
Yesterday I dusted (Blinds! The tedium! No wonder my mom made the kids do that!), vacuumed, and repaired the bias tape on the mattress, as it was more than half ripped off. (Otherwise it's a *very* nice mattress.). I also put out bowls of vinegar and sprayed down all the fabrics to help deodorize, as it smelled a little funky when I bought it.
I did figure out the fridge; I had to turn it on several times to get the air out of the lines. Now I need to figure out how to turn off the water heater. Hot water is a luxury, and one that takes *a lot* of propane.
