I'm getting ready for Colorado. The weather will be a huge change with highs in the low 70s and lows in the 40s.
One of my friends is part of the faery troupe in Colorado, and has asked me to teach them a dance or two that they can do in the kids realm. Wings certainly make for interesting dancing, as the dancers are three feet wide and a foot deep. I'm glad I picked up Cantiga's Renaissance music book, because now I have a lot of the music I might need. I'm hoping to teach them Goddesses, because that is relatively short and has a butterfly cast that should show their wings off quite well, if we can avoid wing collisions.
We haven't had much luck on finding alternate places to stay in Colorado. I've told my potential site-mates that I'm willing to spend $300/month on rent, even though that's triple what the projected cost of living at the nearby ex-KOA was. And it's way more expensive than $100 for two months in the CRF campground.
I have my trunk mostly packed. I've been told I can exchange my propane canister long-distance, so I'm going to try that for this trip, as it will make the trip safer, and take up less room in my car.
It's Northern Invasion weekend. It's going to be a little damp when they arrive, but we should have a good weekend. Tacos for dinner tonight!
