Found a neat website, The Top Sample List. I had a quote stuck in my head, and couldn't remember which song it was from.

Heh, as I'm perusing the top lists, it's interesting to see that I like lots of the bands that are at the top... I wonder if it's related... it wouldn't surprise me, since I really do enjoy good/interesting sampling.

Proof that Minnesota was settled by descendants of the Vikings:

A week or so ago, I was running through Eowyn's Lament again, when, in an odd mood, I pondered what I would do if I were to sing that song for someone.

For the most part, it all works ok, except that I wouldn't feel proper singing that 'songs will be sung in Meduseld' because Meduseld is the Golden Hall in Rohan.

Giving it a moments thought, I realized 'Minnesota' would fit into the song, so I gave it a try...
