random sociallizing

After work last night, I called ganuk to beg for a ride. Turns out he was out at the Dubliner with ulittlewonder, so I randomly decided I'd be social for once, and see if there were still people dancing, and whatnot.

I had a blast! The Dub was no where near as crazy packed as it is on Tuesday nights, partly 'cause all the dancers had gone home already. Ganuk invited a random woman to join us, then one other friend showed up, and it turned into a girls-and-ganuk night out... ulittlewonder bought a drink for one of the band members, I showed off the Lilt (and yes, the two people with opinions agreed it was Scottish and not Irish), and there was much girl-talk and fun.

I really liked the Galway Hookers, though I wasn't as hot for the bodhran player/hard shoe dancer as everyone else seemed to be, but next time I get a Wednesday night off, I'm going to go dance at the Dub. Good times.
