It rained a lot, but stopped by the end of Sunday, so we were able to have a fire in the fire pit at the Morris camp. Saturday they had a fire in the teepee, but I missed that, due to distraction...
I'm starting to get ideas for what I want to do with the booth in TRF, as far as some of the organization goes. I'm also getting more comfortable with the job - I'm starting to see people come up to the booth and know what crown would look best on them. I also learned an important life lesson: Sex sells. *grins* I flirted with a customer for the first time ever, and he ended up buying a crown. One of the most expensive ones we have, mind, and not the one I put on his head while saying, "Only the really cute ones can pull this crown off." It was awesome when he came back for the crown at the end of the day, and watching him strut off regally. If only he had been wearing tights, and not a long loosely fitting doublet... Still an enjoyable sight, regardless.
I have a cough. Nothing else - no fever, aches, tiredness, whatever, except that my throat glands are definately putting in some overtime. It sucks. The 10mg of dextromethorphan stuff doesn't seem to be working. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up something else, maybe 30mg stuff, or I suppose I might try the herbal route, but I just want this to be gone!
