first weekend
Jun. 11th, 2007 09:57 amThe first weekend of CRF went well. It was a nice sunny weekend, not too hot. Nothing too exciting to report. I saw the original Alaric von Schwartz, now living a half hour north of LA and engaged to one of the Well Washing Wenches; he hates California, alas. And Wilsome had a great time in Georgia avoiding all the methheads. It was good to see him.
I don't know if the faeries got to use either of the dances I showed them, but I remembered Ivy's name when I saw her in the street, mostly because she looks like Ivystung, my EQ character.
I need to relearn how to approach people so they'll try on crowns/tiaras/whatever. Despite that, we had a decent, if a bit below average, opening weekend.
