Jun. 20th, 2007 07:16 pmFive big thank yous to
iarroganti for telling me about the VNV Nation tour! Myself and four others went to their show at the Gothic Theater last night, and it was very enjoyable. The Gothic Theater is a very nice venue with lots of balconies to oversee the stage - very necessary, since there were tons of people there, yay! The only not-so-good thing about the Theater was the lack of a dance floor. It made it more difficult for me to get in the dancing mood, but after a couple songs I remembered that aside from my companions, no one knew me there, so one of my friends and I ended up claiming a little cul-de-sac on one of the balconies. The others found another clear spot on the other side of the Theater, and contact-juggle-danced most of the evening. Oh, and I got to debut my new leather pants! Now I can go clubbing and not have to carry a purse, woot!
I will be very sad on my car's behalf once I leave the mountains. I've been getting incredible gas mileage thanks to being able to coast - the last few times I've filled up I've seen 34, 36, and 40 mpg. The most recent fill up looked to be 45 mpg, but I'm not holding my breath on that one; the pump may have shut off a gallon or two early, so I'll see what the next fill up brings.
