update

Sewing: I've finished my half-bodice and chemise. I tried to make the panel thingies to match the bodice, but they didn't come out right. I'm going to try to scour the web to see how folks wear their half-bodices, and try and get some ideas.

I have a little over a week left, in fact, next week will start the packing in earnest. I also will be keeping tabs on the long-range forecast to decide which day I end up leaving, the 13th, 14th, or 15th. I can't leave on the 12th anymore because Entheon's roommate is having a ceili, and I can't miss that!

Next Monday I'll be going to both the ceili dancing and open mic at Merlin's Rest, and Hard Mondays at the Saloon. It's been so hard to be motivated to go out dancing when kirreonna listens to awesome music! I've been grooving on streaming stations Schwarze Welle and MPEG Radio, and kirreonna has a stream-ripper as well, so now I can take all this awesome German industrial, gothic and synthpop music with me when I leave! Yay!

Someone with a clipboard just knocked on the door, and when I answered it, he asked, "Hi, is your mom or dad at home?"

I know I frequently look 5 years younger than I am, but this guy just underestimated my age by over a decade!

Argh!

Fuck! Necessary Response is playing in Tuscon on the first Sunday on ARF!!! Hm. But they're playing in Hollywood the next Wednesday... a road trip may be in order. I hope that isn't AZ Kids Days.

edit: It is Kids Days that week! Argh!

edit: Ahhhh! They're opening for De/Vision!!! *bangs head on desk* Why couldn't they have started their tour a week earlier?!

I want my European synthpoppy goodness, dammit. *sniffle*
