I just got my oil changed, and the folks there said I should start looking for another car, as Cass is all rusted underneath. Hopefully she'll last longer than they seemed to think, but just in case, I'm going to start mentally tagging the rest of my savings for the year as "Roth 2009/Truck" savings, since I need to have these sorts of things anticipated long in advance... :)
The regulator (the internal mechanism that rolls the window up and down) on my rear driver-side door rusted off, so I'm going to try and replace that before going to Yellowstone. Not being able to control the window is very annoying. The front passenger-side window is probably next to go, as it's been tilting a bit. Since I can't open that door, I'll probably just end up sticking a wedge of wood under the window to keep it up.
I hate dogs. Some "hippie" leaves his two dogs tied up at his place and they bark, and whine, and go on and on and on, and when I figure out who it is, I'm going to register a complaint with the campground director.
I have learned from
malignantdaisy that I could actually attend my 10-year reunion if I want to, as it miraculously falls on the weekend before the start of MNRF. Now to decide, do I want to?
