Jan. 28th, 2005 02:26 pmI lie awake, the desert chill pulls the warmth from my body, and I listen to coyotes yap-yipping just beyond reach of the campgrounds.
I have moved into the ARF campgrounds now.
My job at HRBlock is going well – I have done two returns, and I expect to do many more these next couple weeks. Kelly, the Office Manager, has mentioned that what I am doing, a jack-of-all-trades, helping where I can when I am needed, is good training for being an OM.
During Faire, I'll be working for Steve and Thea, The Chocolate Makers. Orientation is tomorrow.
I have met people on the grounds. I went to the tail end of a drum jam in a sacred space, a natural amphitheater in a wash. Old friends, and new.
