Hrm. Still not here. Oh well.
My happy news of the day - I found the lyrics to Eowyn's dirge in the Two Towers! Yay! Unfortunately, I'm still at about a 5% word-recognition rate for Old English.... *sighs* Alas.
Heh, I'm looking forward to being able to experience two completely different RenFaires back-to-back(-to-back). I don't know that anything can top Scarborough, but it'll be nice to be at a smaller Faire that I'm not constantly getting lost in. And I'll be able to show some of the dances I learned to the Terps. I really hope we can occasionally use the Jenny variation this season .... *crosses her fingers*

Date: 2004-06-06 08:22 pm (UTC)I don't think I ever danced the Yorkshire, so I probably wouldn't be able to teach it to my peeps, and the Fairy Reel is actually one of the pieces we performed, but I certainly wouldn't mind knowing how Postie's ends... *bats eyelashes* Please? Does it end after everyone has gone around each post once and then just starts from the top? Or is there a set-and-turn or something before restarting?
