scratching the itch...
Feb. 18th, 2009 08:28 pmI was jonesing for the internet, and so I drove into AJ for no other reason than to go online. Now here I am at a Starbucks for the first time since a business meeting with one of my workers in MN in 2006 or 2007. Yeah, I'm addicted... To live and dream forever / In the cracks between the networks / Watching constellations rise and fall away / A synthesized perfection / High-speed connection / Where I can disappear for days...
This weekend went pretty well. Weather was nice, the attendance Saturday was 9000ish, which didn't feel very impressive, Sunday was lower, and Monday rocked the house. Plus, I got to see The Mediæval Bæbes' 11am performance, yay, and I bought Undrentide. Today was Kids Day #1, and it was ok I guess, though way too slow, especially after Monday. Tomorrow we're supposed to have 25% more kids though, so hopefully it goes a bit better.
I painted my goggles today. I'll drop off the pocket for embroidery on Friday.
